What should I wear?
Each event has its own dress code:
- Sangeet — Festive Indian
- Ceremony — Indian Traditional
- Reception — Cocktail Formal (Western or Indian)
We'll add some outfit inspiration soon. In the meantime, if you're not sure what to wear, reach out — we're happy to help with ideas.
Will events be indoors or outdoors?
The Sangeet and Ceremony are on the East Lawn (outdoors), and the Reception is in the Hayes Ballroom (indoors). August in San Jose is warm and sunny — we recommend comfortable footwear for the lawn.
Travel & Stay
Where should I stay?
We have a room block at The Hayes Mansion, where all the events take place, so you can stay right where the celebration is. Booking details are coming soon — check the Travel & Stay section for updates.
Which airport should I fly into?
The two best options are San Francisco (SFO) and San Jose (SJC). SFO is the most popular and usually has the most direct flights; SJC is the closest to Hayes Mansion.
Is there parking at the venue?
Yes — The Hayes Mansion has on-site parking, approximately $10 for overnight parking.
Guests & Details
Can I bring a guest, plus-one, or child?
Your invitation and RSVP will show exactly who's included in your party — guests, plus-ones, and children. If you have a question about your invite, please reach out to us directly.
I have a dietary restriction — how do I let you know?
There's a notes field on the RSVP page — add any dietary needs there and we'll pass them along to the caterer.
Who do I contact with questions?
Just text either Seema or Shashank. You can also email us at seemashashank2027@gmail.com. We're happy to help with anything.
